The biggest story of the week is that America has officially run out of popcorn. You see, I ate it all while watching the collective meltdown/panic/howls of rage and/or despair of the GOP, the press, and the alt-left all at the same time. I’ve resorted to eating Canadian popcorn. Have you ever eaten Canadian popcorn?! It’s still a kernel because it’s too polite to pop off! Yeesh!
Anyway, I’m going to see Deadpool & Wolverine today so in honor of that two-hour block of joy, why don’t you jump back a week and see what you missed?
Monday: So…did something happen last week? Something important?
Tuesday: Things are going very badly for the chaos agents and very good for us. Ha. Ha. Ha.
Wednesday: Podcast!
Thursday: Family Day!
Friday: I know these Ozempic articles aren’t as splashy and exciting as “Kamala Harris Makes Trump Cry!” but they’re important to me and I can’t write about politics EVERY day. ;)
Lila Explains: Because I was mostly off last week, I didn’t post a Weekend Review BUT I did record a new episode of Lila Explains with my extremely funny not-quite-daughter. We had a great time making fun of two raging misogynists and you’ll have a good belly laugh listening along!
5 Things That I Found Interesting This Week:
Top Sinclair anchor resigned over concerns about biased and inaccurate content - by Judd Legum and Rebecca Crosby at Popular Information
The GOP's legal challenges to Harris's candidacy are bunk - by Lisa Needham at Public Notice
Cenk Uygur celebrates getting Joe out of the race and is now sabotaging Kamala - by Alicia Norman at Alicia’s Substack1
GOP Whines That It's NO FAIR Kamala Gets Joe's Money - by Andre Torrez and Liz Dye at Law and Chaos
Trump finally said it out loud: He wants this to be our last election - by Lucian K Truscott IV at Lucian Truscott Newsletter
Gotta say, this was so utterly predictable, it’s literally the main story of this week’s podcast.
Let’s not forget the infrastructure behind the fucktard: Steven Miller, et al. They orchestrate and devise, the puppet talks. Getting rid of the puppet doesn’t destroy the puppet masters. We need to dig deeper. Much deeper.
Don’t feed the trolls.
