I don’t hold out too much hope that FL will actually turn the bluest of blue but abortion rights + weed = 💜

A deep purple is perhaps more appropriate…

Georgia isn’t true blue, either, but Biden won here in 2020, when the outcome was even iffier. Purple, yes. What we do have are some big cities, and universities in all of them. Those are big markers for blue votes. If we can do it, so can Florida. It’s urban vs. rural.

Well put.

We have once again reached a point where women must intercede to show our importance in voting. It took a big fight to push for women to vote at all. Now we reap the rewards of those who fought before us.

If women don’t vote out Republicans, then our right to vote at all is also one of their targets.

If Trump loses in Florida, his political career will be deader than Ivana. You can bury his dreams of being America’s first fascist dictator next to her full size casket that needed ten pallbearers, contains only ashes, is buried on a golf course, is overgrown with weeds and has no headstone.

I wish I could believe that Florida will flip blue. 60% is a bit of a reach to pass abortion rights and that’s without voter suppression.

Here in Ohio, we reached 58% passage. And the scum republicans tried everything to stop us.

I hope I’m wrong.

Appreciate the reality check. Gotta keep working.

Another indicator is now that Rhonda is coming to the final approach of his reign, the strong Florida Repugnantcan legislative support he enjoyed will continue to dwindle. Especially for those Florida republicans in districts with a very, very thin margin to turning purple or blue. Because, after all, when have failed gubernatorial presidential campaign platforms enhanced a political party’s performance?

In Ohio it was only a vote on the abortion (Issue 1) and the legalization of cannabis. There wasn’t anything else on the ballot - although I would have loved for OH to have achieved over 60%. At least in Florida this November, there will be more draws for voters to get out and vote, so 🤞🙏

The RNC is going to be so broke in a short time unless they score a deus ex machina. They won't be able to support their local candidates, their "policies" are unpopular, and they haven't been able to pass any useful legislation. They have only themselves and trump to blame.
